Domains $7.49 - Why Pay More? From what you describe, I strongly suspect that your cat’s death was a result of his diseases rather than anything else. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy tends to be a progressive disease, even when treated, and for your guy to survive for 5 years with this disease is a testament to your care. Even if you did double up his medication, this likely would not be enough to cause any significant effects (this medication can be given up to 3 times a day at appropriate doses). His low temperature and kidney failure was likely secondary to his heart failure. I have no doubt you did all your could for your cat and I know he was very well loved. I am so sorry he was sick and so sorry about his passing. Please take care.
