Intuitive Bill the cat
There are stories about how animals know when someone is going to pass away. Well, I know first hand that this is true. My husband passed almost 3 months ago, and the morning that he died, Bill lay at the head of his bed wrapped around him for almost 6 hours. Afterwards he came over to me and wrapped himself around my head. Isn’t that something? My brother-in-law didn’t believe such things until that day. His dog was there, too, and minutes before, his dog came up to the bed and whimpered, and then she walked away. Animals are so intuitive and they understand so much more than we give them credit for. Bill still cries every night at the front door waiting for my husband to come home! We all have adjustments to make, but I feel sorry for Bill. He’s 11 years old and my husband found him 3 years ago. He made me promise not to get rid of either cat. I said of course not—there are always coupons! That’s my story.
